What brought you to KPU and your program of study?

I wanted to get into Criminology and pursue policing.

Can you briefly describe your current position and your main day to day responsibilities?

I am a police constable with West Vancouver Police Department. I am currently on Patrol and with the usual daily responsibilities of a Police Constable.

Which skills, knowledge, or experiences from KPU have been most valuable in your career so far?

My education in the legal system, co-op, and exploring other areas allowed me to gain the necessary life experience to get into policing.

What advice would you give current KPU students who want to build a successful career after graduation?

Explore life and do not tunnel vision into policing without a back up plan.
